This gel has come in handy so many times for my German shepherds hot spots on his belly for allergies, but this gel really has come to light for me recently, my Great Dane got desexed and she had a bad reaction to her cone rubbing on her face and huge hot pots appeared out of no where, luckily I had the hot spot gel already on hand and within 6 hours her face went from red inflamed skin, weeping puss and blood to dry and much less irritated skin
